The endless stream of wounded warriors flowing through my ward has taken all the fun out of dating soldiers — until Xinnick ignored all the rules, muscled his way into my life, and changed everything. He says I'm his, and the more time I spend with him, the more I know he's right. Despite my reluctance to fall for his reassuring certainty and his bizarrely charming logic, I'm losing the battle — and that's a big problem. Dating our alien allies is against regulations, but to make things even more complicated, Xinnick has sworn to terminate the very patient I'm trying to keep alive! I shouldn't have to be the voice of reason when he's programmed to comply with regulations, but the alien cyborg has a solid plan and a level of determination that rivals my own. If I can't figure out how to make him see sense... There's a chance nobody around here will be getting a happy ending.
