Conrad of Marburg and his companion Elisabeth continue on their quest for the Third Testament. But to find the relic they must first escape the dark island where they are held captive and then reach the monastery of St Luke which seems to hold the answer to many of their questions. But as they progress in their quest, many more questions seem to arise. Who is the mysterious leader of the horde of warriors chasing them and what exactly is the role of the Knig
