katrinas4 июня 2015Deeply moving novel… It’s highly recommended by me to be read. It will by no means leave you indifferent. Honestly, I did cry my eyes out over it till my pillow got completely soaked. No matter how much fiction this book contains, it does grip your heart and tears it into pieces inevitably. Unlike many other readers, till the final lines of the epilogue I couldn’t believe the plot had twisted the way it had done. I found myself sitting with my red-rimmed eyes peering into the window in the early hours of the morning, my heart torn apart and my soul wounded, with the only silent question on my lips: “Why so?” I didn’t know I had so many tears to fall. They kept running down my face till the thunderstorm broke outside to silence my sobbing, as if nature itself would like to join me in my grief.
No one’s supposed to be judged for the choice one makes; still I can’t accept such things happening. It just feels wrong. If that is what real life is, I don’t want to belong. I realize we have somehow to come to terms with this, but I guess for me it’s not the time. Maybe later I’d get it, not now though.
