РецензияEnglish Ostap Bender goes to war (WWII). This is the first (and probably the last) book by Waugh I've read. It has its moments - very funny at times (episodes with billeting 3 problematic evacuee-kids made me laugh out loud). But generally I found it hard to follow - maybe because he's too clever for me and the style is a bit too arty-crafty for me.
