Power is not a means; it is an end.

Can humankind ever degrade to such an extent that it will refuse from all that in innate to a human nature; that it will refuse to think, to analyze, to feel, i.e. to live rather than to simply exist? Is omnipresent eye and ear of the party or government capable of silencing not only your voice but also your mind? Can they deprive you of dignity, self-worth and pride? Can they wipe out all those who rebel and refuse to obey?
