4 The Magic of Oz

I have read the book "The land of Oz". The author of the book is L.Frank Baum. The action takes place in the great Kansas prairie, in the last century.
The main characters are Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, Cowardly Lion and Toto. Dorothy is a 7-year-old girl.
Dorothy is a kind, brave girl, always ready to help her friends. Also, Dorothy is honest, a little shy, but she can stand up for herself.
Toto is a little black dog. He has long hair, small black eyes and a funny little nose.
The story begins when Dorothy doesn't have time to hide from a strong hurricane, which catches up her house and takes her to a magical country. Following the advice of the good witch of the North, Dorothy is sent to the city of Oz - the Emerald City, where she meets the great and terrible Oz, so that he will help her to return home.
On her way, Dorothy meets the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman and the Cowardly Lion. Everyone has their wishes and they go to Oz all together, getting into different situations.
Finally, after cheating Oz, they go to the good witch of the South, who performs their wishes and returns Dorothy home.
I recommend this book because it teaches us to be kind.
