Its time to isolate these bioactives not only to standardized the drugs at International Standards but also correct use of these bioactives in various therapeutics. These bioactives are secondary metabolites which are now a days refers as Natural Products. The potentials of these natural products have no comparison with allopathic drugs. Anthocyanins are a large group of the bioflavonoids family from the class phenolics. Phenolics are the coloured compounds present in nature in flowers, fruits, leaves etc. These colours play very crucial role in biodiversity. Flowers and fruits, are sole source of rich antioxidant. These antioxidant have potentials to cure various diseases like cancer. Plants are the natural sources of medicines and as per WHO reporting 80% of population of developing countries rely on Indian Medicinal plants. Plant derived drugs came into use in the modern medicine through the uses of plant material as indigenous cure in folklore or traditional systems of medicine. Earth is in its transition state where world is moving to herbs and herbal cure for various diseases. Therefore, present book contain antimicrobial, antioxidant and phytochemical screening of certain Indian Medicinal Plants for scientific validation and authentication. Plants are the potentials source of Antidiabetic Agents, in present book attempts were made to summarize the plants and their bioactives as antidiabetic agents. Diabetes epidemic underway, author aim to work on certain features to provide a overall view on plants and their bioactives as Antidiabetic Agents, the need to find new antidiabetic agents is of paramount importance.

Piper species have found medicinal uses in all parts of the world and are ingredient in the formulation of Ayurveda.Piper species are known to be a rich source of Piper amides and their derivatives,hence species carry potent pharmaceutical properties like: diuretic, carminative, stimulant, etc. Therefore, it is one of the most important genera for its biological potentials and their useful products are emerging in market daily and even exported and thus, there is an urgent need to check their quality, safety and efficacy.Still Piper lacks any systematic study on the primary and secondary metabolites with reference to their standardization and markers and hence, the work on the validation and scientific authentication of Piper sps. in terms of Macroscopic, microscopic, phytochemical, bioactive, tlc, hplc and nmr markers were generated to evaluate various adulterants from its genuine sample for safe use as Herbal Monograph.
