Between the ninth and seventh centuries BC the small kingdom of Assyria in northern Iraq expanded through conquest to dominate the region from Egypt to Iran. When the only person to offer real information about Leonard is killed by what is, perhaps, a stray bullet, she finds her own life in danger.
