Jocelyn_Phoenix18 августа 2026It’s good. Decent time travel and time loop action, fairly compelling mystery, interesting questions raised by the characters’ interactions with each other and with the technology. The pacing is good.
The science is not very science, it is more of a way to start the plot going and to ask all the questions, and it worked well for me here. Not everything has to be hard sci-fi :)
It’s kind of unfortunate that I guessed a big part of the main reveal almost immediately, though. It is pretty obvious, you read about the machine and the murder, and you go “yup, that’s what it is”. There are still some unexpected details and interesting turns of events, enough to keep you reading, but the obviousness was a bit of a bummer.
The ending was also kind of corny and too unrealistic which also slightly spoiled the general impression.
Overall, I had a good time with the book and would recommend it if you like time travel and time loop stories.
