She is an absolute stranger to me: she is stranger than the effulgent sea, more alien than the pale coast, the foreign city. In vain I sob: "Ghost, begone, your hair is under the mountain" — the chant of frightened children under far trees. "Help," I scream. To no one. And the ghost answers: "No. You help me."
