Some time ago, Emma Frost and Cassandra Nova are in Genosha. Cassandra reveals that they are going to give Emma a "secondary mutation" hinting the origin of her diamond form. Then, in the present, Wolverine is in the Danger Room with the students for a combat lesson. He swiftly defeats them, testing Hisako's armour in the process. Hisako becomes annoyed at her incompetence. Outside, Kitty Pryde has a nightmare involving her father, who died in Genosha, whilst Emma, with Sebastian Shaw, Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Cassandra Nova and the hooded figure called 'Perfection'.
