I think it was one of the few books that i found funny and sad at the same time. Things that the narrator(the brother) says are sometimes so absurd, that it makes you laugh out loud. However, while you are reading you understand that beneath the humor lies a deeper and more serious social and cultural issues. Like people around him have their reasons to disregard his opinions. since the brother was officially diagnosed with an illness.  However it doesn't mean they don't have to ask why the patient feels this way or why he feels as if everyone is after him. Moreover, since he is the crazy one and cannot do anything to back his feelings or opinions up, or has no power to exercise, they can laugh at him and mock him or give him judging looks as much as they want.  This made my heart hurt,…
