4 The problem of our system in the core and it's almost impossible to be cured.

The coming race has been a quick buy with a good discount and a riveting description on the back. I have expected a good and exciting tale about the journey or a war between aliens and people, but instead, I have got a detailed observation about cold-blooded underground tribes with an almost perfect peaceful system of living.

Edward Bulwer-Lytton creates an explanation of mankind's problem with wars, the social problem of inequality between men and women, slavery, poor-rich problem, racism and other problems of generations. So, the reason for everything is the difference. Edward tells us that even at the core of our culture - there are famous writers, artists and designers, politics, we admire them, we applaud them, create statues and manuscripts to save their personalities in history whereas others stay forgotten almost by everyone. Vril-ya have nothing like this at the point of traveler's occurrence.

They all absolutely equal and, also, they have a strong source of power - Vril - to defeat their enemies and other weak nations. There are a lot of people in the country of Vril-ya who can control this strange source of power. It somehow improves their mind powers too. Therefore, there are a lot of powerful people in every "developed" community, while only one such soldier can destroy the whole country. That is how they solved the war problem and desires to occupy other territories.

At the same time, the center of their tradition something like stoicism, so people don't have the same strong feelings as our society. Since strong feelings like hate, arrogance, hypocrisy, self-satisfying by brutal forces, primitive love and other strong feelings are perceived as unacceptable and harmful Vril-ya are stable inside and don't have intentions towards fights and disputes.

In my opinion, Bulwer-Lytton tries to tell us that we can't go away from wars and other social problems while we love to feel, to love, to hate, and to admire or be motivated by other people. While we see someone at the top and it helps us to be happy. We like to drink alcohol that harmful to our body (Vril-ya hate it), but we don't mind since we love pain. Pain, kindness and love give us the strength to go further, allow us to be happy. This is where our main character prefers to be dead or go away to his native people. I think this is where we should somehow understand that it doesn't matter that our world is not perfect. There are still so many beautiful things to feel...
