Издательский дом был создан и начал свою издательскую деятельность в Варшаве, в 1992 году - с тех пор редактирует ценные книги из области поэзии, прозы и эссе современных и древних авторов - как польских, так и из-за рубежа.
Our first book was the Polish translation of the Dictionary of the Khazars – mystery novel (in the two versions, male and female) by Milorad Pavic. We currently publish four series of books: NODUS – devoted to the current problems in the realms of contemporary culture and policy); DIVERSITY AND FREEDOM (“rainbow series”) – the goal of which is to fight intolerance, xenophobia and the harmful prejudices; ALBIUS – biographies and autobiographies of celebrities; DRAMATIS PERSONAE – a series devoted to the theatre: the greatest successes of classical dramas and contemporary authors; HISTORICAL SERIES – where testimonies concerning the crucial moments of the universal history are consigned; finally, GNOSIS LIBRARY – presenting the best works in the genre of essays and the humanities, closely related to the topics of our journal “Gnosis”, which has been appearing since 1993 and considers the great questions of philosophy, psychology and human experience in the broad sense of the term. “Gnosis” is assisted by our Internet site, devoted to intellectual pursuits in general: www.gnosis.art.pl .
