Four long-time friends, now each a successful professional as well as an addict to the culture of technology, become lost on a road in a hilly, wooded area where their car ends up stuck in a hole, their cell phones malfunction, and where, as night falls, they eventually find refuge in an enclosed community that has cut all ties to the outside world, forcing them to question their beliefs, values, visions of friendship and love, dreams, aspirations, and fears.
