Could you survive a week in a haunted house?
Mara is the daughter of spiritualists. Her childhood was filled with séances, scam mediums and talk of ghostly presences.

When Mara finally left her family’s home, she vowed she would never allow superstition or false religion into her life again. Now she’s ready to start over with her fiancé, Neil, in a world based on rationality and facts.

But her past isn’t ready to let her go just yet.

Mara and Neil purchase Blackwood House, a derelict property outside of town. They’re warned about strange occurrences in the crumbling building. Doors open by themselves, voices whisper in the night, bloody handprints appear on the walls, and cold spots linger in the basement, where the house’s original owner was murdered.

But Blackwood was dirt-cheap and came with a large plot of overgrown land. Mara loves her new home, and disregards the warnings.

Because ghosts aren’t real…

…are they?

Thirteen spine-tingling stories of darkness and desolation from Australia's award-winning master of the macabre, Shane Jiraiya Cummings.

The Abandonment of Grace and Everything After is Cummings at his fear-inducing best: from the seductively erotic autopsy of "The Cutting Room" and the insanity of "Ian" through to the post-apocalyptic tragedy of "Phoenix and the Darkness of Wolves."

Imagine a secret from the future that could affect creation itself - a secret so dark, demonic powers would do anything to learn it. Ride a train across the Outback as it descends into a bloodbath. Be entranced by a song that threatens to tear reality apart. Listen for screams only a deaf man can hear ...

With personal afterwords from the author that provide insights into each story, and powerful narratives that explore love, loss, and redemption in the darkest of circumstances, The Abandonment of Grace and Everything After is one of the most significant collections of Australian horror ever published.

Tulliæn spans a fractured mountaintop, where the locals lie and the tourists come to die. Try the honey.

Briskwater crouches deep in the shadow of a dam wall. Ignore the weight of the water hanging overhead, and the little dead girl wandering the streets. Off with you, while you still can.

In Haverny Wood the birds drink blood, the dogs trade their coughings for corpses, the lost children carve up their bodies to run with the crows, and the townsfolk stitch silence into their spleens. You mustn't talk so wild.

The desert-locked outpost of Boundary boasts the famed manufacturers of flawless timepieces; those who would learn the trade must offer up their eyes as starting materials. Look to your pride: it will eat you alive.

Sooner or later, in every community, fate demands its dues — and the currency is blood.

Fiction and non-fiction. Reality and make-believe. Can you draw the line between the two? Do you know where real horror starts?
Blurring the Line is a collection of 20 horror short stories by some of the best writers around, plus 10 non-fiction articles to make you think twice about the world we live in – but then again, maybe some of the stories are real, and some of the non-fiction made up...
With tales from Tim Lebbon, Lisa Morton, James A. Moore, Kaaron Warren, Tom Piccirilli, Lisa Hannett, and more, plus frightening artwork by Alex Mcvey, Blurring the Line will make you doubt what you thought you knew, and open you up to possibilities you didn’t want to consider.
But how much of it all is real?

The Road to Golgotha holds two comics by Australian writers, set to the art of US illustrator Monty Borror.
‘His Own Personal Golgotha’ by G.N. Braun follows the awakening of ‘the man’ into a nightmarish world of cemeteries and bones. To achieve anything, he must find out where and who he is.
‘The Road’ by Amanda J. Spedding shows us the changes wrought in Riley as she casts off her civilised veneer to allow the goddess within to emerge fully into her birthright.
Redemption and personal growth are strong themes throughout both stories, and they each hold surprises as the protagonists struggle to come to terms with changes or growth they need to undertake. Travel with them as they go through their own personal golgotha along a road less-travelled.
