Книжная премия Колорадо - это ежегодная награда за особые достижения выдающихся авторов, редакторов, иллюстраторов и фотографов американского штата Колорадо.

Награды вручаются с 1991 года.

Премии присуждает Колорадский центр книги и отдел программ гуманитарных наук штата Колорадо.
Лауреатов определяют группы судей, которые отбираются на основе интересов и компетентности. В детских номинациях наравне с основным жюри книги оценивают дети и молодежь.

Премия представлена в 19 номинациях, охватывающих практически все виды литературных жанров. Премии в каждой номинации вручается не регулярно. Периодически добавляются новые номинации. В одной номинации может быть награждено сразу несколько лауреатов.

Общими критериями отбора для каждой номинации являются содержание, оригинальность и широкая привлекательность произведения. Каждая категория также имеет свои дополнительные критерии.

Премии вручаются весной в городе Денвере.
