О премии

Книжная премия Пушкинского дома (Puskin House Russian Book Prize) - премия, учрежденная при поддержке британской сети книжных магазинов Waterstones в 2013 году.

К конкурсу допускаются книги о России в жанре нон-фикшн, изданные на английском языке, вне зависимости от языка, на котором они написаны. Более того, в положении о премии специально подчеркнуто: "Переводы с других языков, в том числе, конечно, и с русского, к конкурсу допускаются и приветствуются".

Цель премии — содействовать пониманию России и русскоговорящего мира и поддержать интеллектуальные дебаты в этой области.

Вручение премии происходит ежегодно, лауреат получает денежную награду в размере 5 тысяч фунтов стерлингов (примерно 7,2 тыс. долларов).
