О премии

Премия «Блестящая книга» - английская награда за лучшие книги, выбранные юными читателями.

Премия появилась в 2014 году и находится в ведении Образовательной библиотечной службы графства Ноттингемшир. Поддерживается она The Bookcase at Lowdham.

В выборе книг, достойных премии, участвуют школьники 7-9 классов в школах Ноттингемшира, Ноттингем-Сити и Дербишира.

Ежегодно школы предлагают книги для длинного списка. Затем учащиеся участвующих школ читают все книги, включенные в список, и голосуют за понравившееся издание. Книга, набравшая максимальное количество голосов, становится победителем. Объявляется также книга, занявшая второе место.

Победитель объявляется в марте.
