Antoinette Moses (b. 1946) grew up in London and although she always wanted to be a writer, she did not start writing books until she was in her fifties. Since then she has written over twenty books and seven plays. She lived in Greece for four years and the Mediterranean often provides the background for her work. Having worked in the arts running arts festivals for many years, she decided to go back to university in her sixties and got a creative writing doctorate at the University of East Anglia where she now teaches creative writing and literature. She is currently working on a new play, a new book and creating a festival of literature for young people: FLY!
