It is the story of my life and my father's life. We took different paths. He stayed in academics, created fuzzy sets and fuzzy logic, and became one of the world's most cited mathematicians. I stayed in academics long enough to have some great stories to tell. Ditto for gambling. I have included in this book some of the techniques I used to make money playing poker, backgammon, and betting on basketball and baseball, as well as some of my secrets for making money in the market and doing well in school.
