This is the second book in my Menmenet Series (a sequel to The Two Kites). The series is based on the alternate history idea that the Egyptians colonized the West Coast rather than the Spanish, as the Egyptian empire survived into the present day. I'm exploring some of the political and cultural issues in our own day through the lens of the culture of ancient Egypt, and also having a lot of fun inventing a language for my characters based on Egyptian hieroglyphic.
